How this calculator works
Wallpaper is normally hung in
full-height vertical strips called
drops.
This calculator first works out how
many drops are needed to cover the
perimeter of your walls. It then
calculates how many complete drops
can be cut from each wallpaper roll.
If you enter a
pattern repeat,
the required drop length is increased
to the next complete pattern repeat
so that matching wallpaper has
additional material allowed for it.
Important:
this calculator provides an estimate
only. Pattern matching, damaged pieces,
unusual wall shapes, trimming and
installation method can increase the
amount required.
