HOW IT WORKS
For walls, measure the total perimeter
of the room and multiply it by the wall
height.
For a ceiling, measure its length and
width.
If required, enter the total area of
doors, windows or other surfaces that
will not be painted in
Area to subtract.
Enter the paint coverage shown by the
manufacturer and choose how many coats
you intend to apply.
If you enter a tin size, the calculator
will also estimate the number of whole
tins required.

Surface condition, application method,
colour changes and paint type can alter
the amount of paint required.
