How the currency converter works
This currency converter uses
exchange rates that you enter yourself.
Choose two currencies in Exchange Rate
Settings and enter the rate between them.
Press
Save Rate
and the rate will be stored in your browser.
You can save multiple currency pairs.
Your saved rates remain available until
you replace them, delete them or clear
your browser's stored site data.
You only need to save a rate in one
direction. If you save
GBP → USD,
the converter automatically calculates
the reverse
USD → GBP
rate when required.
Exchange rates change over time.
This calculator does not automatically
update them, so replace your saved rate
whenever you want to use a newer rate.
